JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a superstar Key Account Executive to maintain and grow our retail, wholesale and online sales within the UK. We have made a start in the UK with wholesalers and smaller independents, but it’s time to shout a bit louder and grow the brand within the market. Your role is to increase market share by meeting and exceeding agreed objectives in terms of acquiring new business and customer retention. You will also be the support for these key accounts, ensuring we are supporting our customers at the highest standard possible. 

You are the relationship starter, the shelf checker and the sales maker. We want someone brimming with excitement and energy. We know you might not have full channel expertise, but we can get you there. We are looking for someone who has practical sales experience within UK grocery retailers, who is looking to expand into an omni-channel sales role. In this role, you will report to the Commercial Director, who leads all markets including Ireland, UK and International. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will manage the UK territory, cultivating and expanding relationships within the market. It will be your task to make sure our retail partners get as much support as possible. As part of your role you'll be expected to achieve the following targets: 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: 

  • Commercial responsibility for existing accounts (Ocado, Amazon, Wholefoods, Wholesalers and new accounts developed)
  • Build on existing relationships and create new relationships that assist in supporting the growth objectives within each account
  • Managing agreed KPI’s (Sales Revenue, Volume, Distribution, execution) to ensure targets are being achieved
  • Developing annual business plans for each account
  • Achieve target listings for New Products managing the subsequent roll out with customers 
  • Timely and accurate forecasting to ensure we have supply to meet customer demand
  • A comprehensive understanding of the categories and competitive set within the relevant food category to assist with identifying growth opportunities within each customer
  • Report to the business on performance within the accounts 
  • Manage the trade spend in market within budget to allow us deliver profit targets  

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: 

  • Retail Customers: With support of the Commercial Director, identify opportunities within target medium to large retail accounts in the UK and develop the category strategy, selling story story and commercial plan for successful listings
  • Online Customers: With support of the Commercial Director, develop growth plans for existing accounts (Amazon & Ocado) as well as identifying opportunities within a growing market with other online customers
  • Direct to Consumer: Work with our D2C time to ensure alignment of activities and strategy in synch with our other UK customers both online and retail  
  • Continue to build listings in brand building accounts seeding the brand with customers of influence and in locations where early adopting consumers shop
  • With support of the Commercial Director Plan, negotiate and execute customer launches in the UK with sustainable, long term commercial value-adding agreements in place
  • Create new relationships that assist in supporting the growth objectives within each target account and have a contact strategy in place to support

AWARENESS AND BRAND BUILDING: 

  • Partner with Marketing to develop brand campaigns to increase awareness and trial with our target consumer profiles of the fiid portfolio in creative and cost effective ways
  • Ensure the effective activation of trade investment through tracking and reporting
  • Liaise closely with Marketing to ensure meticulous planning of resource to ensure the ongoing success of NPD activation

ENSURE SUPPLY:

  • Work with our UK wholesale partners and retailers to maintain stock levels on a weekly basis in stores across UK
  • Partner with Supply Chain Optimisation Manager to ensure the most efficient and sustainable logistics are in place to best suit your accounts needs and our overall logistics costs

YOU’LL BE PERFECT FOR US BECAUSE 

  • You have previous FMCG sales experience within UK, including retail and B2B environment
  • You have a competitive spirit and passion for selling and building relationships
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • You have enthusiasm and drive, a can-do attitude and a burning ambition to grow within sales 
  • You want to work for a transparent brand, promoting convenient nutrition and healthy living
  • You are a team player- this is non-negotiable for us: we're a small, entrepreneurial team and rely heavily on one another for support to achieve our goals 
  • You are a people-person: you'll spend a lot of time meeting people, building relationships and representing the brand 
  • You have a full clean UK driving license
  • Organisation Skills of Marie Kondo - you'll be responsible for planning your own days and workflow 
  • The energy and focus to work and thrive within a small team that is going places very very fast
