We’re looking for an innovative Supply Chain Optimisation Manager, who can own and develop our supply chain processes and strategy. As the Supply Chain Optimisation Manager you will be responsible for the overall direction of operational processes and contract manufacturer relationships.

2020 will see the brand deliver on > €1.6m in retail value sales in Ireland, growing >300% YoY. We are well on our way to demonstrate the strength of our brand and products by adding category value through premiumisation and incrementality and the focus is now on continuing to disproportionately win market share. Part of your job will be to ensure that fiid is ready to hit the shelves and on schedule. We’re here to challenge, disrupt and to make a positive impact on the Irish and UK plant based landscape, but we have global ambitions and this is just the start.


  • Lead supply chain excellence, establish best practice and S&Op planning processes to ensure optimum inventory and supply chain governance and analytics.
  • Develop the demand and supply planning for all products to the required service levels required to achieve KPI’s.
  • Main point of contact for international co-manufacturer, ensuring relationships are collaborative, working together to find innovative and efficient processes for current operations and NPD.
  • Lead demand planning, in conjunction with Regional Sales Manager. Review and analyse historical data, forecasts and trends to optimise scheduling production and inventory management.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to maintain our distributor relationships, setting and achieving key objectives on service levels, inventory management, packaging and other operational goals.
  • Work closely with the Sales team on international market entry planning, optimising expansion through supply chain operations.
  • Manage existing international manufacturing processes, while establishing best practice for new markets and opportunities.
  • Define ways of working internally and with third party distributors, to ensure supply continuity and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with distributors and manufacturing partners to understand challenges and areas for improvement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.
  • Manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure strong collaboration on objectives and overall alignment on key focus areas of growth and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the team to investigate and identify potential manufacturing partners in Ireland for new product development.
  • Work to manage and reduce lead times both internally on the order process and externally with contract manufacturers.
  • Proactively manage logistics costs and product stock levels, ensuring the escalation of any issues and are provided by mitigating strategies.
  • Manage the 3PL on a daily basis to ensure that all tasks required for a smooth operation are completed.
  • Work with the team to support the eCommere platform, establishing optimised processes and inventory management to ensure targets are met.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Supporting the new product development innovation pipeline, driving excellence in operational execution with customer planning, leading regular SKU rationalisation review.
  • Producing monthly reports to support business reviews and stakeholder engagement.
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • You have a Bachelor Degree – Business, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • You have 4-5 years’ supply chain experience within FMCG
  • You are experienced in project management and process implementation
  • You specialise in stock & order allocation management experience an advantage
  • You have experience working within a European Supply Chain
  • You have 3PL experience
  • You enjoy collaborating with external contract manufacturing suppliers
  • You have experience in export documentation
  • You have a working knowledge and implementation experience with ERP systems
  • You are a self starter who does not need direct supervision to motivate you for success - we are fostering a culture of individual accountability and ownership and need partners that can embrace that mentality
